Vidin
The province of Vidin is the most north western province of Bulgaria and borders Romania and Serbia. There are remains of lots of castles in the province of Vidin and this includes one of the last Bulgarian strongholds during the Ottoman invasion Baba Vida.
Lush meadows, dense forests and Belongradchik Rock cover the slopes of the Strar Planina and there are also around 80 caves near the border with Serbia, with the most famous being the Magura Cave, which has a cave painting from 10000 BC.
