Pazardzhik
Pazardzhik is located in southern Bulgaria and the area hopes to develop rural and mountain tourism around the Rhodope mountains. The mountains are covered with lots of coniferous and deciduous trees which are located around the many lakes and are ideal for fishing for perch, rudd, carp, barbel, roach and zander. There are spa resorts in Banya, Strelcha, Varvar and Velingrad.
Transport systems are in place with the main railway route between Sofia and Plovdiv running through the region and also the Trakiya motorway.
The town of Pazardzhik is populated with cafes with outisde seating where people can relax and enjoy a coffee. There are shops for tourists and shopping in malls as well as cinemas and disco venues.
