Montana
Montana is located in northwestern Bulgaria, bordering Serbia and Romania. The Stara Planina moutain is located in the province of Montana and the valley runs along the Berkovitsa River. The town of Lom is situated in the province of Montana and is located on the right bank of the Danube. It is an important port situated on the Danube.
The area of Montana has cold winters and hot summers with the climate temperate continental. January sees an average tempertature of -2*C while in July it is 25*C. It has been known during the last 15 years for temperatures in the summer to reach 35*C-40*C.
