Kurdzhali
Located in south central Bulgaria Kurdzhali is home to a mix of Bulgarians and Tukish so not surprisingly both langauges are spoken. The climate is like Mediterranean countries and it is only 35 miles from Greece and Turkey. The landscape is full of mountains and forests.
Places to visit would be the Kardzhali and the ancient city and fortress Perperikon. Near the village of Nenkovo is the artificial astronomic cave and the temple and tomb at Tatal.
